Knitting with handspun is fun

Especially when you get close to the end of the ball... I am running against the yarn more often than not. When I have a few meters left, I can knit funny little things.

Like an Owl :
Chouette
(improvised)

Made from the remnants of this Peacock Rainbow Cowl :
Peacock Rainbow
(my own Rainbow Moebius pattern)

But with my last cowl, I only have less than a meter leftover :
Minstrel Cowl
(my own creation, inspired by a shawl called "Age of brass and steam" by Orange Flower)

Luckily I had a tiny spinning swatch I was able to use to finish binding off the cowl.

Also: Tencel is so shiny it's impossible to photograph.
